About this role
Market research interviewers conduct surveys and gather data from members of the public through face-to-face interviews, telephone calls, online panels and other research methods, following structured questionnaires and research protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting interviews using structured questionnaires
- Approaching respondents in streets, homes or by telephone
- Recording responses accurately and completely

Qualifications and entry routes
No formal qualifications are required. On-the-job training is provided. MRS (Market Research Society) interviewer quality standards apply. Good communication skills and reliability are essential.
